Scripture
“But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,
for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.”
Galatians 3:25-26, ESV
Encouragement
Through faith in Jesus Christ, we no longer live under a guardian. A “guardian” is known as a guide or slave responsible for the training of a child, which included punishment for any misbehavior. Without Christ, we would be left to live under the law and receive the punishment for disobeying the law. With Christ, we don’t just receive the gift of redemption, but we are also identified as sons of God through our faith. The Lord provided the way for us to all be called children of God. Let’s celebrate our life as a child of God!!
Reflection
Through your faith in Christ Jesus, you are a child of God. Read Galatians 4:1-7.
